BUDDING AUTHORS

What made you mad the most in Triskellion – when they first came along? Other than Hilary Wing? The TV show. They really made me so angry. We’re in The Star, and here are some American fellows wanting to dig up the ancient graves. Chris Dalton has no respect for the ancient burial grounds, and has no respect for the dead (I’d respect him if he was dead). He just wants tons of money and to look good.  He wants viewers, he wants to be stinking filthy rich and he wants the Triskellion. Why does he want the Triskellion? Chris Dalton wants the Triskellion so that some museum, or, cuz he doesn’t even care about archaeology, some rich bloke off in the US who’s going to keep the Triskellion on his mantlepiece, merely glancing at it every day or so. We really see how he doesn’t care about the valuable artefacts and monuments when he opens the coffin live on air about fifteen minutes after they find it.

We don’t know much about Amanda. We know she’s into archaeology and not as… flashy and careless as Dalton. She has blond hair and is friendly. And she does tests on artefacts found on Treasure Hunters. She’s also like a co-director that shows you the certain amount of enthusiasm that you put into certain, lines, words, or even syllables. She taught Adam what to do when he was showing off Honeyman’s coins (and had a misfortunate accident)

Laura Sullivan is opposite to Chris Dalton. A lot of the time, she doesn’t care what the crowd think. She’s not wishing for money. She’s just doing archaeology because she likes archaeology. Somehow, I never imagined Laura with the Australian accent she was described with. I also had a hard time trying to imagine her with red hair; to me her hair was a reddish-brown colour, and she was always wearing either dark blue or black. Laura is just doing archaeology because she likes doing archaeology. Full stop. I’ll emphasize the full stop.

And now we’ve got a brand new competition! Write the rest of this editorial! You can do whatever you want really.
